Directions:

The Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at the University of Illinois, Chicago is located in a posh 216 acres of cement just west of Chicago's south loop and between Greektown and Little Italy.

By train: Take the "El" Blue Line UIC-Halsted stop. Walk south through the campus to Taylor St. Turn left to find the ERF Building.

By car from north side: Take L.S.D. ... south to Balbo St. Turn right and continue to State St. (dead end). Turn right and then immediately turn left on Harrison St. Continue on Harrison to Halsted St. Turn left onto Halsted and continue to Taylor St. Then turn left on Taylor and then turn left again into the covered parking structure. Walk west on Taylor St. to the ERF building.

By car from north-west side: Take I-90/94 (Kennedy expressway) past I-290. Exit Taylor St. Turn right onto Taylor St. and immediately turn right again into the covered parking structure. Walk west on Taylor St. to the ERF building.

By car from west side: Take I-290 (Eisenhower expressway) towards Chicago downtown. Exit onto I-90/94 heading south (towards Indiana). Immediately exit on Taylor St. Turn right onto Taylor St. and take another immediate right into the covered parking structure. Walk west on Taylor St. to the ERF building.

By car from south-west side: Take I-55 (Stevenson expressway) towards Chicago downtown. Exit onto I-90/94 heading north (towards Wisconsin). Take the Roosevelt/Taylor St. exit. From the exit ramp, continue straight (don't get back onto the freeway) one block to Taylor St. Turn left onto Taylor St. Pass the bridge going over the expressway and turn right into the covered parking structure. Walk west on Taylor St. to the ERF building.

By car from south side: Take I-90/94 (Dan-Ryan expressway) headed north to Chicago downtown. Take the Roosevelt/Taylor St. exit. From the exit ramp, continue straight (don't get back onto the freeway) one block to Taylor St. Turn left onto Taylor St. Pass the bridge going over the expressway and turn right into the covered parking structure. Walk west on Taylor St. to the ERF building.

By boat from the east side: We don't know, we've never done this before. If you have a boat, and want to give us a little joyride, send us a note.
